The Eternal Colourful Collar

This is a picture of two of my grandmother’s sisters, Jacqueline and Nicole, during the 60s. I liked this picture because it shows that the “colourful collar” trend* was also big in the 60s. I don’t know why but that photo made me think of both Jackie O. and Maggie Gyllenhaal**. The collar was probably attached to the shirt but I also like when the collar is detached to a top; when you can wear it with any top. This kind of “collar jewelry” is definitely one of my next purchases!

*We can see shirts with interesting collars everywhere these days; on the streets, runways, etc.

**Doesn’t the one in the pink shorts look like the actress?
