this... In fact, when you are a beginner like Solène and I, it may look more like this.
For people asking: NO, this is not part of my post-undergrad job search!

Yes, I have tried to go to the gym... many times since my early teens. I hate the gym for many reasons. First, I can't stand running for no purpose. If I run, there will be a reason; my dog decided that a leash did not exist in his world or I am late somewhere*. I also hate it because I have to discipline myself to go, it is not scheduled classes. Not to mentioned that, in my university gym, they've placed the treadmills facing the walls and the weight stations just behind them, creating a nice view (or not so nice) for the boys-club**.
Anyway, so to get in shape and to feel energized and good in my own body, and to get that ballet-dancer-volleyball player body without actually playing the sport***, my friend Vanina and I decided to try that new thing in town: Essentrics. It is a mix of Ballet and Yoga moves that focus on creating long and lean muscles. That way, you don't end up with a man-like muscular body, the exercises are designed so that the muscle because strong and long, like a ballet dancer. The classes usually last 1 hour and are divided into two categories: Essentrics Barre and Essentrics.

Because we have very dry winters in Canada, I use 100% Shea Butter to put on the most dry areas (face and body), it helps more than this ultra-moizturizing Clinique Product, that I use for other seasons of the year. Also, you will not find that product at your Sephora, they sell it at Organic stores. So there, you read my well-kept skin secret!

As a Marketing student, I prefer studying campaigns in magazines rather than what's in the textbooks. It's true, I have never actually "read" Vogue, I have always looked at the various ads instead. So these are my favourite ads from Spring 2013 and why I especially chose them...

I still don't know the reason why I started shopping online. Is it because I am too lazy to go out and walk a few blocks to Ste-Catherine? Maybe. Is it because I enjoy receiving gifts delivered to me by mail*? Most definitely.
I discovered Asos last summer from... from other bloggers I guess. At first I thought that shopping online would be a very bad idea because of the astronomical shipping costs**. But then, I realized that it was free with Asos. Therefore, I ordered a swimsuit (had some wardrobe malfunctions but otherwise it's great), 3 dresses and two shirts that you can see below. For those of you wondering, I did not have any problem with the sizes because Asos has a good size chart on their website.
Another great thing is that they have a very wide selection so the chances are really slim that you will run into someone who has the same clothes as you do.
